I am an idea writer with an unstoppable work ethic. I’ve created ideas for big brands and small ones, famous brands and hope-to-be-famous ones. I’ve brought ideas to television and emails, websites, products, packaging, and a whole lot more. I’m not picky; I just love developing and executing ideas. My experience makes me a valuable addition to the development of any brand.

My name is Kevin Roddy and I am an industry-leading writer, creative director, and CCO. But, importantly, I'm an artist in the world of business. I understand business issues and am an expert at applying creativity to solutions that effectively connect brands to people.

 

I have worked with many of the greatest brands at some of the world’s most respected creative agencies including, BBH/New York, Fallon/New York, and Riney/San Francisco. Throughout my career I have been recognized and awarded for creative excellence, innovation, and leadership around the world.

Under my leadership, clients forged into new and previously uncharted creative territories including a five-episode television series on MTV for Unilever’s AXE called, “The Gamekillers.” A first-of-its-kind YouTube sensation for Diageo’s Smirnoff Raw Tea called, “Tea Partay.” And the innovative launch for Warner Brothers Music of a new Oasis album, “Dig Out Your Soul,” via street musicians on the streets of New York City.

In addition to my creative leadership roles I am a copywriter and, as such, I've been recognized for creative excellence throughout my career. Twice I have been ranked in the world's top three of Boards magazine’s “Top 10 Copywriters Worldwide” list; the top five of Boards' "Top 10 Creative Directors Worldwide" list; and on Ad Age/Creativity magazine's "Creative 50: The Most Creative People" list. Additionally, I have won almost every major award in the world several times over.

In fact, I am the only person in advertising history to win The One Show's "Best of Show" award twice.

 

My work is also included in the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) permanent collection.
